This week has been mental health awareness week and to recognise the occasion, I want to share 10 inspirational mental health blogs:

1. 365 Days a Year

This blog follows the life a woman in her 40s as a recovering alcoholic and try to dismiss some of the stereotypes surrounding what makes an alcoholic.

This blog is run by a mental health professional who provides psychoeducational information with his intention to motivate, inspire, and uplift anyone who visits.

This blogger is a mother, wife and has a decade of working in the mental health sector. Plus she struggles with anxiety and depression on a daily basis and uses her blog to spread awareness of mental health.

4. Amy Oestreicher

Amy Oestreicher is an author, speaker, actress, artist and songwriter. She grew up believing thar her entire life would be dedicated to the performing arts. Now, she is also a survivor and “thriver” of sexual abuse, 27 surgeries, coma, organ failure, and the PTSD that comes from ten years of trauma – or what she now calls my “beautiful detour.” She uses her self titled blog to promote and share her creative works plus inspire others who go through trauma to follow their dreams.
