Today we speak to Swedish musician Johan Isaksson (aka Processor) who shares his love of creating music and how a wood processor inspired his stage name.
Artist’s Name: Processor
Genre: industrial metal electronic
Founded: 2002

How would you describe your music?
Intense dark and often distorted mainly 4/4 beats.
What is your musical creative process like?
Just sit down and bury the head into the daw and something always comes up. It could be a funny sound or odd break that is starting the creative process. When I have that I just finish the song, which could take four hours to four weeks until it is perfect.
How did you come up with your stage name?
You might think that my stage name comes from a processor in a computer but thats not the story. I saw a wood processor harvesting forest and I thought that would be a cool name. So the absolute first pictures of Processor was taken with logs (lost now). After that it was just Processor (and i know that it is not google friendly).
Who influenced you within the music industry?
John Carpenter and Depeche Mode.
What is the best thing about being a musician?
Being creative is the best thing and to be able to communicate with fans and connect eith other creative people.
What’s the biggest problem you’ve had to overcome so far as a musician?
Always hard to reach out – you tend to drown in all the social platforms.
What is your ultimate dream as a musician?
To be able to live on the music is my dream.
