Foo Fighters released a surprise EP titled “00950025” last week. It features two live tracks they performed at shows in 1995 and one in 2000 –

1. Wattershed (Live at Reading Festival, London, UK – August 1995)
2. All the Cows (Live at Reading Festival, London, UK – August 1995)
3. Next Year (Live at the Chapel, Melbourne, Australia – Feb 2000)

[Important Note: Reading Festival does not in fact take place in London but in the city of Reading, Berkshire!]

It’s not clear as to why the Foo Fighters named the EP “00950025” but fans believe it has a lot to do with the numbers which surround the zeros, which highlight that it’s coming up to 25 years since the band released their debut 1995 album.

This also comes ahead of their upcoming headline sets at Reading + Leeds Festival on the August Bank Holiday Weekend. Plus they have shows in Republic of Ireland and Glasgow, Scotland.

I think this is a teaser to big plans coming soon from Dave Grohl & co. – watch this space!
