Music Interview: Rozu

Rozu

October has exploded onto the scene and I want to open it in hardcore style and introduce to you American band Rozu:

Band Name: Rozu
Members: Tim Graham (vocals), DJ Sundine (guitar) Brian Robertson (drums) Henry Navarre (Bass)
Genre: Post Hardcore/Metal
Founded: January 2018
Originated From: Denver Colorado USA
Discography: Dissolve & Faceless (singles)

How would you describe your music?

The best way to describe our sound is aggressive melodic music with major post hardcore roots. From shit to dance, to swinging your fists and everything in between.

How did the band form?

The band formed by each member really being the driving factors in previous endeavours and all being so like-minded in what we want to do and how a band should operate. We really just all love each others vibe and love writing together.

Who influenced you within the music industry?

Some of our biggest influences come from Underoath. Every Time I Die, Saosin, and Taking Back Sunday.

Have you performed live much and what was your favourite gig to play at?

We are getting ready to announce our first run of shows in October!

What is the best thing about being in a band/musician?

The best part about being in a band especially ours is just being able to create art with people you really care about and enjoy being in the same room with for extended periods of time, being able to share that art with people who connect with it is just the icing on the cake!

What plans have you got coming up in the next year?

We plan on releasing two more singles and getting these first run of shows out of the way before 2019, in 2019 we have a lot of material and are going to be consistently touring.
