Emma Purcell is a freelance disability, lifestyle and music journalist based in Hampshire, UK. She is the Co-founder and Editor of Crip Life™, the UK’s freshest online disability magazine that is dismantling disabling barriers one article at a time.
She has also published work at Disability Horizons, AccessAble, Access Rating, PosAbility Magazine, as well as original content on her blog Rock For Disability. She graduated with a journalism degree from the University for the Creative Arts in 2016.
In this blog, Emma shares everything about her life & disability; the ups and downs of living with cerebral palsy and being registered blind, the difficulties of relying on carers, her journey to become a freelance journalist and sharing her adventures of social and leisure activities!
Emma also features music news, reviews and interviews of all things rock and alternative music.
