Emma Purcell on Beernuts Productions Podcast

Beernuts Productions logo

As I mentioned back in October, I was invited to feature on the Beernuts Productions Podcast hosted by Australian blind filmmaker and podcaster, gough.

On the episode, I explain how Cerebral Palsy (and very briefly my sight loss) affects me both physically and in my day-to-day life. I then chat about why I chose journalism and talk about my journey through higher education. I talk about the struggles I faced at university and offer up some really great solutions on how to fix those problems.

I then share some of my favourite stories and interviews I’ve done over the years at Disability Horizons and also some of the great music artists I’ve interviewed for my blog Rock For Disability.

I also mention my work as an Ambassador at AccessAble and my campaign for audio description on ALL TV shows and films.
