Forget Download, Glastonbury, Reading + Leeds and Victorious. This August bank holiday weekend is the year of Stonedeaf Festival.
This is a one-day event on Saturday 25th August taking place at Newark Showground, 17 miles south west of Lincoln in North East England.
The event has been organised by veterans of the Donington Monsters of Rock Festival. They aim to bring the old school vibes of festival going by making it a one-day event, with one stage, cheap ticket prices and create a memorable rock festival experience.
Line Up
If you love classic rock and the likes of Guns n’ Roses, Bon Jovi Led Zeppelin & The Rolling Stones, this festival is up your street. Here is the full line up:
In addition, there will be a Friday Rock Show for people camping over. Go to the Stonedeaf line up page to get more details on all the acts performing.
Tickets
You can purchase tickets from the Stonedeaf box office. A single arena ticket costs £50 or an arena only 4 pack for £160. For a single camping ticket it will cost £60 or camping 4 pack for £200. These prices are 80% cheaper than those of Reading + Leeds and Glastonbury.
Disabled Facilities
For rock fans with a disability, there is also access for you too. You simply purchase your own ticket then contact the festival organisers to register for a PA ticket. You just need to email them your order number and proof of disability to be eligible for a PA ticket. At the arena the grounds are flat with hard walkways, there is a viewing platform, disabled toilets and a sheltered area near the first aid team.
There is also a disabled campsite with accessible toilets and showers. To find out more about the accessibility facilities, visit Stonedeaf’s Disabled Facilities page.
