How would you describe your music?

My music is an intense mixture of blues, rock and prog, with improvisation being a great part of it.

How did you begin playing music?

I’ve always found it easy to come up with melodies and chord progressions, so I’ve always written songs. Since I moved to Los Angeles and started working with several different bands and artists, I decided to focus and dedicate myself on my own personal project, so since January I’ve started to perform with “EDGARD”.

Who influenced you within the music industry?

A great inspiration for me is Derek Trucks.

Have you performed live much and what was your favourite gig to play at?

I have been performing for quite a while. This year alone it has been around 70 performances and still counting. I believe the most fun gig was performing my own music in my hometown last month. The crowd was amazing and it was a special evening.

What is the best thing about being a musician?

To express yourself through your music, connecting with people and their own perspectives of my songs.

What plans have you got coming up in the next year?

I’m planning on going on the road again supporting my music. I also want to work on a lot of new material.
