October 2018 Donations: Muscular Dystrophy UK

Rock For Disability is reaching it’s 10th month now and it’s growing well. It’s gained over 5500 blog hits, has 130 followers and over 820 likes on Facebook.

But it needs to grow further and that is where I need your help. If you love the work I’ve produced so far and eager to read more blog posts and view more features, then please donate to fund future blog resources. Running this blog does come at a financial cost and every donation given can help it continue to grow, expand and improve for you and all future readers to enjoy!

In addition, I will be donating 20% of every donation made to my blog, to a disability charity. Every month I will pick a charity that supports the lives of disabled people.

In September 2018, we raised £10 for Treloar’s Trust:

TRELOARS - THANK YOU Thanks for your contribution, Miss Purcell Your support is vital in helping us to provide services to run our school and college for young people with disabilities. Summary You have donated £10

For October 2018, I’ve chosen to give the money to Muscular Dystrophy UK a charitable organisations that provides support for people with muscle-wasting conditions. In addition to supporting them on my blog, I will be attending their Content Advisory annual meeting and running my own fundraising event. Both of which I will share more details on in mid October.
