August 2018 Donations: Leonard Cheshire

Rock for disability

Rock For Disability has been running for 8 months now and it’s growing well. It’s gained over 4000 blog hits, over 100 followers and over 700 likes on Facebook. But it needs to grow further and that is where I need your help. If you love the work I’ve produced so far and eager to read more blog posts and view more features, then please donate to fund future blog resources. Running this blog does come at a financial cost and every donation given can help it continue to grow, expand and improve for you and all future readers to enjoy!

In addition, I will be donating 20% of every donation made to my blog, to a disability charity. Every month I will pick a charity that supports the lives of disabled people.

In July 2018, we raised £25 to Guide Dogs for the blind.

Guide Dogs - Thank You Emma - You've set up a Single donation of £25.00. Your amazing support will go towards helping us change the lives of people who are blind or partially sighted.

For August 2018, I’ve chosen to give the money to Leonard Cheshire, who supports disabled people with employment, care and other campaign work. This is also a charity that a friend of mine is currently doing a summer internship placement with in Wales.

To donate, click on the PayPal link below and follow the instructions. 1 donation costs £5 but you are welcome to donate more if you wish. Let’s see if we can double last month and reach £50. Every donation, large or small, can make all the difference to a disabled person’s life!

Thank you for all your support!
